As a Customer Technology Advisor for Data & AI, you are a senior, customer-facing expert who helps organizations design, adopt, and scale data- and AI-driven capabilities.

You operate at the intersection of business strategy, modern data platforms, and advanced AI, partnering with executives, architects, and consultants to translate business ambitions into pragmatic, scalable solutions.

From early advisory discussions to solution shaping and pre-sales leadership, you play a decisive role in building trust, credibility, and winning complex Data & AI transformation engagements.

What You Will Do

• Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CDOs, and AI leaders, guiding them through data modernization, analytics, and AI adoption journeys
• Lead Data & AI solution design in complex sales and pre-sales engagements, owning the technical storyline and architectural integrity
• Shape end-to-end data and AI architectures, from ingestion and governance to analytics, machine learning, and generative AI use cases
• Create and present compelling value narratives, proposals, demos, and proofs of concept that connect technology to measurable business outcomes
• Collaborate closely with hyperscalers and technology partners (e.g. Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake) to deliver best-of-ecosystem solutions
• Stay ahead of trends in GenAI, advanced analytics, and data platforms, and translate innovation into client-ready offerings

What Sets You Apart

Must-have

• 5+ years of experience in Data & AI consulting, architecture, or advisory roles, with direct customer responsibility
• Proven ability to translate business challenges into Data & AI strategies — not just technical architectures
• Confidence leading discussions with senior stakeholders and owning the technical direction in pursuits and client engagements
• Fluent German and English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and convincingly

Strong advantage

• Hands-on experience designing modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake) and understanding their trade-offs
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance in enterprise environments
• Solid grounding in AI and machine learning concepts, including generative AI
• Exposure to advanced analytics, knowledge graphs (e.g. Neo4j), or industry-specific AI use cases
